The turbine stage element (100) has a through flow opening (101) for a fluid stream and a predetermined aerodynamic profile (102) along the through flow opening. The turbine stage element has a fiber-reinforced material. The fiber-reinforced material consists of carbon fibers, glass fibers, aramide fibers, ceramic fibers or polymer reinforcing fibers or of matrix materials made from a thermosetting material, particularly epoxy resin, ceramic, carbon or thermoplastic. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a turbine stage element for a turbine.
