Cylinder head for engine block of four-cylinder-four-valve petrol engine, has cooling channel system provided with lower water jacket such that coolants are fed into upper water jacket and into lower water jacket of channel system
The head (102) has a cooling channel system (124) provided with an inflow opening (136) and an upper water jacket (126). The cooling channel system is provided with a lower water jacket (128) such that supplied coolants are fed into the upper water jacket of the cooling channel system and the lower water jacket of the channel system. The upper water jacket of the cooling channel system is formed in an area of an outlet valve guidance (122) and/or inlet valve guidance (120) and/or a retainer of an injector. An independent claim is also included for an engine block of an internal-combustion engine.
