Test leak unit for evaluating results of tightness tests, has housing from which leakage determining outlet is guided for test gas, where housing has changing volume in which test gas is put under pressure by volume reduction
The test leak unit has housing (11) from which a leakage determining outlet (19) is guided for a test gas. The housing has a changing volume in which the test gas is put under pressure by volume reduction. A locking device (20) is provided for fixing the volume in the reduced condition. The housing comprises a cylinder in which a piston (14) is moved for the volume change. The piston is connected with a piston rod (15) projecting from the housing. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a test leak unit.
