High-dynamic range video image sequence generating method, involves providing video image sequence with partial image sequences, and superimposing images of movement-compensated partial image sequences to image with increased dynamic range
The method involves providing a video image sequence with temporal sequential partial image sequences, where the partial image sequences comprise images with different exposures and different movement phases. A movement estimation is carried out on the video image sequence, and movement-compensated partial image sequences are interpolated to the partial image sequences, such that images of the movement-compensated partial image sequences comprise the movement phases. The images of the movement-compensated partial image sequences are superimposed to an image with increased dynamic range.
