The transmission (1) has a component transmission unit (2) whose input shaft (4) is coupled to an electrodynamic starting element (5) that is connected with an output shaft of an internal combustion engine. A lock-up clutch (11) is provided for detachable connection of an electrical machine (10) with the engine. An input shaft (6) of another component transmission unit (3) is detachably connected to the output shaft of the engine by a starting clutch (7). Another electrical machine (8) is arranged behind the starting clutch in a power flow direction during a traction mode.
