The device (1) has a supporting belt (22) and/or a supporting belt pair supporting body parts e.g. head, torso region and/or extremity region, of a person to be treated. The supporting belt is arranged in two end areas (17) of a balancing bar (14). The balancing bar is formed from wood material and flexibly attached into two compression springs (12) via one of the body parts of the person to be supported. The compression springs are arranged between the end areas and adjustably formed along the balancing bar.
