Route determining method for motor vehicle, involves determining route under consideration of characteristic and other characteristic with respect to road system along route such that route is formed as pareto-optimum route
The method involves determining a route under consideration of a characteristic and another characteristic with respect to a road system along the route, by a route computation device (2) i.e. mobile navigation system, such that the route is formed as a pareto-optimum route with respect to the characteristics, where the former characteristic or the latter characteristic has a distance between a place and another place. The pareto optimal route is determined by a Dijkstra algorithm or a modified Dijkstra algorithm. The route is output by an output unit (4) e.g. display device.
