Breast tissue compensation component, particularly breast prosthesis for externally wearing at body of woman after removal of breast tissue, has soft-elastic plastic body which has front side and rear side
The breast tissue compensation component has a soft-elastic plastic body (1) which has a front side and a rear side. The front side corresponds to the form of the cut side surface of the removed breast tissue. The plastic body consists of a gel-like plastic material (2) and a foil bag with front and rear plastic films (3,4). A flat fabric component (7) is arranged on the front side of the plastic body. The flat fabric part is preformed according to the form of the front side of the plastic body. Another fabric component (5) is firmly connected on the rear side of the plastic body. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing a breast tissue compensation component.
