Connection diagram representing method for motor vehicle i.e. car, involves spatially and/or functionally selecting regions of connection diagram, and outputting selected regions by output unit i.e. touch screen
The method involves storing all electrical components including interconnection with an identifier and a coordinate in a digital database (2), where the coordinate shows a location of a component in a motor vehicle and designed as three-dimensional coordinates. Regions of a connection diagram are spatially and/or functionally selected by an input unit. The selected regions are output by an output unit (4) i.e. touch screen, where the selected regions are A column, B column or C column. An independent claim is also included for a device for representing a connection diagram of a motor vehicle, comprising a digital database.
