The device (1) has a display element for presentation of data e.g. measurement data, and comprising a projection module (3) arranged within a housing (2). The projection module and projection surfaces (4) are aligned on each other such that the projection module projects the data on the projection surfaces. The projection surfaces and housing are aligned on each other such that the projection surface and the projected data are visible outside of the housing. Two window segments are provided in a wall of the housing, and the projection surfaces are attached in the respective segments.
