The method involves adjusting the synchrotron of cycles to a cycle variable in ion type, ion energy and beam intensity, which adjusts a particle beam by the quadrupole magnets and the scanner magnets. An energy of an extracted ion beam is controlled with an external control signal, and the extracted ion beam is aligned with variable energy during the slow extraction at the movement of a target volume. An independent claim is included for a particle catalyst for a radio therapy with ion beam for execution of the method.
