The profile (10) has a hollow space (11) defined through an outer wall (12), and a floating chamber (16) for a floater defined through a separating wall (14) in the hollow space, where the separating wall is even. The separating wall comprises support elements (18) at a surface turned towards the floating chamber, where the support elements run in a longitudinal direction. A position sensor is arranged between the support elements. An outer wall (12) of the profile is formed as a round pipe.
