Centrifuge for use in e.g. industry for separation of components of liquids from magnetizable particles, has magnet device arranged and designed such that magnetic force acts on lower area of container for holding particles
The centrifuge (10) has a centrifuged body (20) rotatable around an axis and provided with a retaining device (50) for accommodation of a container (60), where the container contains fluids (70) e.g. liquids. A magnet device (110) is arranged and designed in such a manner that magnetic force acts on a lower area (90) of the container during completion of rotation of the body for holding magnetizable particles (80) in the lower area of the container by magnetic force. The magnet device is arranged at a distance from the retaining device. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for separation of components of a fluid from magnetizable particles (2) a software stored on a data medium for controlling or implementing a method for separation of the components of the fluid from the magnetizable particles.
