The device i.e. urea injection valve (10), has a temperature-subjected component partially provided with sodium material (20). The sodium material protects the temperature-subjected component from exceeding maximum temperature by performing phase transition below the maximum temperature. The sodium material is provided in an area of a valve head (12). A receptacle (21) i.e. double-walled case (18), is arranged within the area of the valve head, where the case is made of stainless steel. The temperature-subjected component is partially surrounded by a thermal insulation layer. An independent claim is also included for an exhaust gas system of an internal-combustion engine.
