Method for determining composition of fuel mixture, particularly gasoline-ethanol fuel mixture or gasoline-methanol fuel mixture for operating internal combustion engine, involves supplying fuel mixture to temperature sensor
The method involves supplying a fuel mixture to a temperature sensor (10). The temperature of the fuel mixture is determined by the temperature sensor in a measuring phase, where the temperature sensor is charged with a heating current in another measuring phase. The heating current is deactivated by the temperature of the fuel mixture in the third measuring phase. An independent claim is included for a device for determining the composition of a fuel mixture of two fuels, particularly gasoline-ethanol fuel mixture or gasoline-methanol fuel mixture for operating an internal combustion engine.
