Measuring object's three dimensional surface scanning method, involves executing scanning movement of laser light beam by beam deflecting unit, and utilizing laser light beam for measuring and displaying data of scanning points
The method involves executing a scanning movement of a laser light beam by a beam deflecting unit (7) independent of pivoting axes (6, 8). A speed of the scanning movement of the beam around one of the pivoting axes is selected higher than a speed of the scanning movement of the beam around another pivoting axis. A central electronics (15) is provided for controlling range, sequence and resolution of acquisition of data of scanning points in a receiving range area. The beam is utilized for measuring and displaying the data of the scanning points. An independent claim is also included for a device for executing a method for scanning a three dimensional surface of an object.
