The brake system comprises a compressed air control valve (2), an auxiliary air tank (4), a brake force regulator (3) and a brake cylinder (12) transferring the brake force to the control mechanism. The brake cylinder pushes on brake pads through a cross beam, where the brake cylinder is located in a spring hanger cavity, and lies on both sides on the hangers of a chassis frame (6).
