Fire-fighting method for use in e.g. fires in tunnel or oil-well, involves diffusing crushed ice or split ice over and on fire surface, and blasting ice explosive bomb over fire surface in or at fire source
The method involves diffusing crushed ice or split ice over and on a fire surface. The crushed ice or the split ice is used as an extinguishing agent. An ice explosive bomb is blasted over the fire surface in or at a fire source. The explosive bomb consists of a firmly frozen hollow body in which a small granular ice is filled. A blasting device is integrated in or at the explosive bomb, and is provided with respective ignition devices. The explosive bomb is transported to the fire source using a vehicle. An independent claim is also included for a device for fire-fighting in major fires, forest fires and fires in a tunnel or an oil-well.
