Promoting and regulating biotechnological processes, comprises: introducing electrically polar crystals in the form of nano- or micro-particles, either in bulk or enclosed in a filter basket, as porous tape or coatings in the reaction chamber and applying the crystals into contact with the biological material involved in the process; stimulating the electrically polar crystals for removal or for the formation of adsorption layer placed on them and consequently activating or passivating the electric dipole field; and promoting an enzyme production process or cell growth process. Promoting and regulating biotechnological processes, comprises introducing electrically polar crystals in the form of nano- or micro-particles, either in bulk or enclosed in a filter basket, as porous tape or coatings in the reaction chamber and applying the crystals into contact with the biological material involved in the process; stimulating the electrically polar crystals for removal or for the formation of adsorption layer placed on them and consequently activating or passivating the electric dipole field, where the process is a biotransformation process with whole cells; and promoting an enzyme production process or cell growth process, where the process is a process for the digestion of cells for the production of intracellular products.
