Adaptive image correction method for e.g. parking system, in motor vehicle, involves selecting image correction algorithm corresponding to scene, from multiple algorithms, where each algorithm produces representation of environment
The method involves recording a sensor image of an environment by a sensor, and assigning a predetermined scene adjacent to the image. An image correction algorithm corresponding to the scene is selected from a number of image correction algorithms, where each image correction algorithm produces a representation of the environment for a viewer to display the sensor image. The selected algorithm is applied on the sensor image. The image correction algorithms are provided with a Bayer-Demosaic filter. An independent claim is also included for a computer program product to perform a method for correcting an image of a sensor image of an image evaluating environment monitoring system.
