Pipe pres coupling for use in domestic engineering field for pressing multilayered composite pipes, has protective casing and ferrule formed, such that casing and ferrule are fixed relative to each other in fixing process of pipe end
The coupling has a protective casing and a ferrule (12) for pressing a pipe end (10), where inner diameter of the ferrule in an axial portion (20) is greater than outer diameter of the pipe end. The ferrule is formed, such that the pipe end is widened by a widening tool during a widening process. The protective casing is formed, such that the casing is inserted into the widened pipe end. The casing and the ferrule are cooperatively formed, such that the casing and the ferrule are fixed relative to each other in a fixing process of the pipe end following the widening process. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a pipe press coupling.
