Security device for protecting and/or monitoring e.g. politician, has control units for controlling detection modules to detect event and communication modules to transmit detected event to processor controlled monitoring unit
The device has mobile radio terminals (16-22) communicating over a mobile radio network (10), and detection modules (36, 38) coupled with the terminals for detecting an event (39). Communication modules (44, 46) transmit the detected event to a processor controlled monitoring unit (34) i.e. electronic data processing system, of the network. Control units (48, 62, 66) control the detection modules for detecting the event and the communication modules for transmitting the detected event to the monitoring unit, where the control units are provided in the terminals. An independent claim is also included for a method for protecting and/or monitoring persons or objects.
