Biologically active complex comprises a combination of (i) biological principle active at mitochondrial level deoxyribonucleic acid, which is (a) amino acids, e.g. serine, cysteine, isoleucine, asparagine or threonine-containing pentapeptide, (b) a soy protein hydrolyzate or (c) mixture of (a) and (b) with (ii) biological principle active at nuclear level deoxyribonucleic acid, which is (d) teprenone and (e) fine Myrtus communisplant extract or (f) mixtures of (c) and (d). An independent claim is also included for a cosmetic anti-aging composition comprising the biologically active complex and a carrier. ACTIVITY : Dermatological. The ability of biologically active complex having dermatological activity was tested in-vivo on 20 volunteers of age group around 43-69 by applying the emulsion with 4% of active agent against a control around the eye and checking the reduction of wrinkles. The result showed (after 56 days) that 39% of the total wrinkle area, 36% of total wrinkle length and 30% of number of wrinkles, around which the active complex was applied was reduced compared to the area around which the control was applied.
