The binding (1) has a heel holder holding a ski boot within an area of a ski boot carrier (3). A displacement guide displaces a front foot holder (7) with respect to a pivot axis (B) parallel to a longitudinal direction (C) of the carrier. A reset device acts on the front holder with a reset force such that the reset device is displaced in front positions provided by the guide when no force against the reset force acts on the holder. The reset device includes two springs (30, 36), which form a series connection, where a spring constant of the spring (30) is larger than that of the spring (36).
