Flat hairspring for balance wheel/hairspring resonator, has strip formed of turns that are formed with single band from interior curve to exterior curve, where portion of exterior curve has section larger than section of strip
The hairspring (10) has a metal or alloy rectangular section strip formed of turns, where the hairspring is made of amorphous or crystalline material i.e. silicon. An end of an interior curve (11) of the strip is integrated with an axle (9) of a timed balance motor, and an end of an exterior curve (14) of the strip is fixed to a balance-coq. The turns are formed with a single band from the interior curve to the exterior curve, and comprise portions conformed outside of a layout of a spiral of Archimedes. A portion of the exterior curve has a section larger than a section of the strip. An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating a hairspring.
