FIELD: radio engineering.;SUBSTANCE: from sailing horizon of underwater object the following components are delivered with the help of positive buoyancy, being installed in it, - receiver of signals from satellite navigation systems (SNS) with mechanism of its antenna submersion into ice, double-frequency answering beacon, metre of speed of sound propagation in water and hydrostatic sensor - to lower edge of ice coating. In area of positive buoyancy attachment to ice, using mechanism of submersion, receiver antenna is taken out through ice into air medium, and navigation hydroacoustic system is used on underwater object with two spaced hydroacoustic antennas installed in bow and stern along diametrical plane of underwater object. Then receiver of SNS is used to determine geodesic coordinates of answering beacon. In process of positive buoyancy lifting, measurements of hydrostatic water pressure and sound speed in water are carried out, and on underwater object "inquiry" signals are emitted synchronously towards answering beacon from each antenna, and re-emitted response hydroacoustic signals are received from beacon. Their measured parametres are used to determine inclined distances from underwater object to answering beacons and bearings to answering beacon from areas of installation of spaced hydroacoustic antennas. Obtained data is used to determine corrections to numerical coordinates and course generated by board inertial navigation system of underwater object.;EFFECT: expansion of functionality by provision of correction to original course with required accuracy, generated by board inertial navigation system of underwater object as it is located at sailing horizon.;2 cl, 1 dwg
