FIELD: chemistry.;SUBSTANCE: proposed is a precursor with several trialkoxysilyl groups - oligo- 4-[2-(4-{[3-(2-trimethoxysilianyl-ethyl)-cyclohexyoxy]-hydroxy-methoxy}-phenyl)-vinyl]-2,6-dimethylpyrilium perchlorate. Also proposed is a method for synthesis of the said compound through a cation copolymerisation reaction with epoxide ring opening of the organic compound, having an epoxide group and a trialkoxysilyl group, and an epoxy derivative of the organic functional molecule, designed for modifying the surface or particles of silica, and a method of modifying silica particles with the obtained precursor. Silica particles modified with the said precursor can be used as an indicator for presence of amine-containing compounds, particularly butylamine.;EFFECT: obtaining a precursor which provides stable chemical modification of silica particles due to large number of alkoxysilyl groups of the precursor linked to the functional organic molecule, which results in increase of the rate and degree of bonding of the precursor to the surface of the silica particles.;3 cl, 1 tbl, 1 dwg
