A partial discharge remote-monitoring system for a cable connecting device and a partial discharge remote-monitoring method for the cable connecting device are provided to detect early a partial discharge of the cable connecting device by installing a partial discharge detection sensor at an outer circumference of the cable connecting device. A sensing unit(6) includes a partial discharge detection sensor for sensing a change of capacitance. The partial discharge detection sensor is installed at an outer circumference of a cable connecting device for connecting a gas insulating switch unit with a distribution cable. A partial discharge measurement unit(8) receives a capacitance value of the cable connecting device, converts the received value to a partial discharge value, and compares the partial discharge value with a predetermined partial discharge value in order to determine or predict an internal trouble of the cable connecting device. A manager terminal(10) is installed at a remote place in order to perform a real-time monitoring process on the basis of the partial discharge value, and generates an alarm signal or controls a circuit breaker.
