PURPOSE: An MB-OFDM UWB transmitter and a method thereof using cognitive radio technique based on interference temperature model are provided to solve the interference problem for the commercialization of UWB system using the interference temperature model and generic algorithms. CONSTITUTION: An MB-OFDM UWB transmitter and a method thereof using cognitive radio technique based on interference temperature model comprises a temperature calculation module(710), a channel capacity evaluation module(720), a parameter decision module(730), and an adjustment module(740). The temperature calculation module calculates the temperature of the interference signal within the communication system it uses the received channel information parameter. The channel capacity evaluation module evaluates the channel capacity determined based on the temperature calculated in the channel information parameter and temperature calculation module. The parameter decision module selects the channel information parameter which has the maximum channel capacity using the genetic algorithm, if the channel capacity is not the greatest. The adjustment module adjusts the carrier frequency or the TX power according to the channel information parameter determined through the channel capacity evaluation module and parameter decision module.
