PURPOSE: IEEE 80211e HCCA-based polling and queue managing methods are provided to satisfy a requirement for real-time transmission including the limited bandwidth and the adequate queue length of a wireless channel.;CONSTITUTION: An add traffic stream(ADDTS) request frame(701) is transmitted to a hybrid coordinator(HC). The traffic stream index(TSI) and the display of a modifying method is included in the traffic specification(702) of the ADDTS request frame. The HC writes a failure reason code(706) in an ADDTS response frame(705) based on the result of an admission test(703). A pass code(708) is written in the other ADDTS response frame(707). If a wireless terminal receives the pass ADDTS response frame, the terminal generates queue.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
