PURPOSE: A location based spiral clustering method for preventing collision between clusters in a wireless sensor network is provided to form clusters in four directions from the center of a wireless sensor network area according to location information, thereby realizing quick clustering. CONSTITUTION: Nodes select a node within a fixed distance from the center of a wireless sensor network as the first cluster head based on each location information(S210). The selected node selects four determination nodes for selecting a cluster head(S220). The four determination nodes select cluster heads respectively(S230). The cluster heads forms a cluster by selecting each member node(S240). The cluster heads select a determination node for selecting a next cluster head.
