PURPOSE: A control method of improving the performance and the efficiency of an industrial electro hydraulic actuator system is provided to control an electric motor as well as to maximize the efficiency of the electric motor through the determining of a minimum rotation number of a bi-directional gear pump by measuring the load pressure and the displacement of a hydraulic actuator in real time. CONSTITUTION: A control method of improving the performance and the efficiency of an industrial electro hydraulic actuator system is as follows. In the clamping state of a hydraulic actuator, the load pressure applied to the hydraulic actuator is measured(S100). The displacement of the hydraulic actuator by a displacement sensor is measured(S200). An electric motor is operated by a minimum number of rotation, which is determined by the measured load pressure and displacement(S210). The minimum number of rotation by the displacement increases the number of rotation of the electric motor(S220). The displacement and the change of the displacement are measured(S300). The rotation number of the electric motor when it has over a predetermined displacement and a predetermined displacement change is determined as a minimum rotation number(S400).
