PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing 64Cu by separating 64Cu from 64Ni enriched target is provided to reduce unnecessary radiation exposure of a working employee by removing anion exchange resin such as 57Co etc, and to efficiency recover expensive 64Ni.;CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing 64Cu includes the following steps: dissolving 64Ni enriched target in which 64Cu is formed in a 3 N ~ 10 N hydrochloric acid aqueous solution; separating 64Cu by extracting the hydrochloric acid aqueous solution with dithizone in carbon tetrachloride liquid; removing impurities by washing dithizone in carbon tetrachloride extract with a hydrochloric acid aqueous solution of 1N or less; back-extracting the dithizone in carbon tetrachloride extracting containing 64Cu to a 64Cu aqueous layer; adsorbing 64Cu; removing impurities by adding a hydrochloric acid aqueous solution of 5-9 N in a column; and diluting the adsorbed 64Cu.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
