PURPOSE: A system for blocking malicious domain using a domain name system server and a method thereof are provided to cut off the access of a user terminal to a malicious domain by collecting and managing each kind of malicious domains.;CONSTITUTION: A user terminal device(100) requests the access to a certain domain by connecting to a DNS(Domain Name System) server(200), and receives the connection pause or allowance information for the domain from the DNS server, and transmits to the DNS sever the response information corresponding to the access information. The DNS server judges the requested domain based on malicious domain information which manages registration/management, and transmits the access pause and allowance information to the user terminal device.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
