PURPOSE: A producing method of nano SmCo5 powder, and a manufacturing method of the permanent magnet using the nano SmCo5 powder are provided to reduce the size of a micro SmCo5 powder into the nano SmCo5 powder using an RF plasma combustion technology.;CONSTITUTION: A producing method of nano SmCo5 powder comprises the following steps: supplying SmCo5 powder with the grading of 10~100 micro meters to a torch unit, and generating a plasma at the torch unit to evaporate or dissolve the SmCo5 powder; supplying quenching gas to the evaporated or dissolved SmCo5 powder to produce the nano SmCo5 powder; and filtering the nano SmCo5 powder to collect nano powder with the grading less than 250 nanometers.
