PURPOSE: An ice maker and a refrigerator including the same are provided to prevent water which is provided from water supply pipe from overflowing to the outside of the ice maker.;CONSTITUTION: An ice maker for a refrigerator comprises: an ice making tray which is installed in the inside of a storage room of a refrigerator and makes ice; a water supply guide(70) which is formed in one side of the ice making tray and guides water which is supplied from a water pipe(90) to the ice making tray and wherein a cut(75) is formed in the water supply guide; and a cover member(80) which is combined in the water supply guide and prevents the water which is supplied from the water supply guide from splashing to the outside and is composed of transparent material.
