PURPOSE: A system for limiting the usage time of an electronic product and cutting off standby power is provided to set the usage time of an electronic product, thereby limiting the usage time of the electronic product and cutting off standby power when the electronic product is not used.;CONSTITUTION: A master card(4) sets the usage time of an electronic product. A card recognizer(20) reads information recorded in the master card. A key input unit(16) comprises keys for setting the usage time of the electronic product. A power controller controls the power provided to the electronic product during the set use time.
