MOLD ASSEMBLY FOR MANUFACTURING A WIRE GRID POLARIZER AND A METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A WIRE GRID POLARIZER BY USING A MOLD ASSEMBLY, CAPABLE OF FORMING A STRIPE PATTERN OF A NANO SCALE IN COMPARISON TO AN IMPRINTING SCHEME
PURPOSE: A mold assembly for manufacturing a wire grid polarizer and a method of manufacturing a wire grid polarizer by using a mold assembly are provided to manufacture a large sized product while reducing manufacturing costs in comparison with photolithography process.;CONSTITUTION: A mold(320) comprises penetration holes(321) which are parallel with each other. A pressing mold(310) is arranged on the mold and includes a plurality of protrusions(311). The protrusion corresponds to the penetration hole and the width of protrusion is smaller than that of the penetration hole, so the protrusion can be inserted into the penetration hole.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
