CALL SETTING SYSTEM IN THE BOUNDARY AREA BETWEEN SWITCH DEVICES AND A METHOD FOR THE SAME, CAPABLE OF ENABLING USERS TO RECEIVE VOICE/VIDEO SERVICE WITHOUT FAILING OF CALL CONNECTION
PURPOSE: A call setting system in the boundary area between switch devices and a method for the same are provided to prevent call connection fails which are generated by failing paging reception during location registration when an incoming terminal is located in the boundary area between switch devices.;CONSTITUTION: An outgoing switch device requests call processing to a first incoming switch device according to the calling of an outgoing terminal(S200). If adjacent switch address information is received from the first incoming switch device, the outgoing switch device broadcasts a calling request message to a switch device corresponding to the adjacent switch address in order to set a calling path with a switch device which transmits a call response message(S214). An outgoing switch device transmits a call setting complete message to the first outgoing switch device(S216). If the call setting complete message is received from the outgoing switch device, the first incoming switch device removes location registration information of the incoming terminal(S218).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
