The invention relates to a method of establishing a map (22, 53) delimiting zones (23, 52) at risk of proliferation of an infectious disease caused by a pathogenic agent. The method comprises the following steps: defining at least one factor relating to the spread and transmission of the pathogenic agent; acquiring at least one satellite image of the geographical location; processing (37, 38, 44, 45) the image to generate at least one first (40) and one second (42) image on each of which zones of presence of the factor are extracted; determining (51, 59) the common zones (23, 52) shared both by the zones (46) extracted from the first image (40,42) and the second image; and said common zones being zones at risk of proliferation of the infectious disease. The invention also relates to a device for establishing a map, a recording medium and a map obtained by this method.
