A fragrance dispensing assembly including a container having a sealed interiorchambercontaining porous reeds in a fragranced liquid. At least one buoyant member iscoupled to oneor more of the reeds. The porous reeds, buoyant member(s) and the fragrancedliquid are put inthe container and placed in contact with each other prior to sealing thecontainer. To commenceuse of the fragrance dispensing assembly, the sealed container is opened andthe buoyantmember(s) elevate the coupled porous reeds within the liquid, thus providingadditional portionsof the pre-soaked porous reeds to extend from the opened container and begininstant andcontinuous fragrance dispensing to a room upon opening the sealed container.
