A method for diagnostics of accompanied bone system pathology in women patients with epilepsia is performed by instrumental examination. The X-ray densitometry of the right hand is carried out, optical density of X-ray film is determined, on which examined bone site structures are fixed. The densitometry X-ray pattern sites is carried out in a zone of proximal and distal epiphyses Iof the III metacarpal bone and at the projection of steps character gradient standard. An image on standartized X-ray pattern is converted to digital codes using slide scanner for further mathematical processing and determination of optical density of bone tissue by means of software, cortical indices are determined, namely the ratio of difference of external diameter D and internal diameter d to external diameter D of the II, III, IV, and V metacarpal bones, after that paramenetr of integral cortical index is obtained automatically, and at value of integral cortical index 0.45 c.u. the osteoporosis is diagnosed, at value of 0.46-0.60 c.u. the osteopeny is diagnosed, and at that a value of parameter standard 0.60 c.u.
