The vibrator has a counter-oscillation generator (T) designed to generate oscillating waveform against a ship (V). The counter-oscillation generator is coupled at a top portion of the ship. An imbalance motor (S) is provided with the counter-oscillation generator. A measuring device (Z) is utilized for measuring the oscillating waveform generated by the counter-oscillation generator. A driven screw provides rotation movements for the ship to move forwardly. An independent claim is also included for a method for reducing oscillation of a ship.
