The present invention relates to extracts and their derivatives, aosprocessos of obtaining these plant materials, including his assets alone, of plants of the genus Pouteria, belonging to the family sapotaceae and its use in the composition of medicines, food supplements or composition S nutracu00eauticas with therapeutic action and preventive for human and animal use.And still employed in cosmetic compositions.The diversity of applications in different products should the constitution of these extracts and their derivatives, rich in compounds with anti-inflammatory activity, nuclear receptor antagonist of estrogen and antioxidant activity, in addition to the antimicrobial activity (fungicide and Bact Ericida), UV protection, inhibition of enzymes acetilcolinessterase and tyrosinase.Linked to neurodegenerative diseases, and are still proved to be nontoxic.
