The process of fabricau00c7u00e7o thirst for valve in PTFE by compactau00c7u00e7o isostu00c1tica and sinterizau00c7u00e7o and thirst for valve PTFE obtained via the process of compactau00c7u00e7o isostu00c1tica and sinterizau00c7u00e7o.This descriptive report refers to a patent of invention of a process of manufacturing a valve seat in polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and the valve seat obtained by this process, belonging to the technical field of shut-off valve for hydraulic systems.This process mainly consists in molding the valve seat from the isostatic compaction of the particulate polymer. The next step is the sintering of the piece. Alternatively, this process can be composed of uniaxial compression / molding of PTFE, followed by isostatic compaction of the piece and the sintering.When necessary, the process can be supplemented with a stage of machining, to adjust the dimensions and eliminate the burrs of the valve seat. The process, object of this patent, solves the problems observed in the processes currently available, enabling the economy of material, manufacturing time of the piece of machinery and labor.Another advantage is the increase of the quality of the parts thus obtained, ensuring durability and sealing capacity, even at high pressures.
