PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an momentary power interruption/momentary voltage drop countermeasure device, capable of reducing unnecessary backup operations and suppressing consumption or a failure of an electricity-storing means.;SOLUTION: Electric power is supplied from an external power supply 200 to a load device, and if the voltage of the external power supply 200 fails, the electric power is supplied from the electricity-storing means 108 in the inside. This momentary power failure/momentary voltage drop countermeasure device 100 is provided with a determining means 102 that determines whether a voltage failure is existing in the external power supply, based on the determining criteria of the presence of the voltage failure; a changing means 104 that, if it is determined that a voltage failure exists, changes the power source to the load device from the external power supply to the electricity-storing means; a load-detecting means 112 that detects the load state of the load device that is operating on the power supply from the external power supply 200; and a determining criteria changing means 114 that changes the determining criteria, based on the detected load state.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
