PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a CAD system for sheet metal using the two-dimensional CAD to take over advantages of a drawing function and openness as characteristics of a multipurpose two-dimensional CAD and capable of further and easily creating CAD data to express the shape of a sheet metal product and its development elevation. ;SOLUTION: A curved line held by two segments basically and only with two-dimensional geometric information and to satisfy no prescribed condition and a curved line to satisfy no link relation (ID of a line) are deleted and a new curved line is automatically restructured between two segments to satisfy the prescribed condition to construct a CAD/CAM capable of easily creating and editing the development elevation for sheet metal by using the multipurpose two-dimensional CAD system 1 by a synthetic development elevation command creating part 12, a synthetic development elevation creating part 13, a linkage processing part 14 and a synthetic curved line restructuring part 17.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
