It is adaptive current control circuit for gain shifts are minimized and power consumption was reduced in the variable gain amplifier. Automatic gain control circuit provides a gain control voltage in response to the gain control signal. Gain control voltage is used by the variable gain amplifier to set the gain of the output signal for wireless transmission. And receive the same gain control voltage to reduce the current to the variable gain amplifier during the low-gain operation, whereas, the adaptive current control circuit provides a high current through during high gain operation. In order to minimize the effect of temperature on gain, current supplied is a mixed complementary to absolute temperature is proportional to absolute temperature and (PTAT) current (CTAT) current. To further minimize the effect of temperature on gain, the ratio of the CTAT current and PTAT current can be adjusted for the particular temperature range.
