PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agent and a method for satisfactorily preventing the consolidation of granulated blast furnace slag over a long term even when it is stored in a heap on the ground.;SOLUTION: The agent used for preventing consolidation is a water-insoluble highly water-absorbing crosslinked acrylic polymer.
