Topic Unnecessary postponement time token processing is evaded offers new lead/read copy update postponement time detection technology.Solutions Until existing reference to the joint ownership data element is removed, atomic order method in order to detect dying postponement time, it is the system, and the computer program product in lead/read copy update subsystem or the other processing environment whose it is necessary to defer the removal of the joint ownership data element. Detection of postponement time includes the fact that the token which circulates between the processing entity which shares the access to the data element is established. The token at each time the circumference it does between processing entity, postponement time elapses. Each processing entity and relation it shows whether or not the dispersed indicator which is attached, has the necessity to do the removal processing regarding each joint ownership data element. The dispersed indicator before each processing entity does token processing, is processed in each processing entity. Token processing is done when being guaranteed by the dispersed indicator just. This way, when the dispersed indicator does not guarantee such processing, it can evade unnecessary token processing. Selective figure Figure 9
